Hi,
Just to add to this review. My friend and I both bought this Sanyo model from Amazon a year ago and sadly the electronics failed after just 3 months of use with one cooker and the other had a problem with the heating element failing. My recommendation would be to stick to a better quality Japanese branded slow cooker/rice cooker such as Zojirushi or Tiger for longevity and as these boffins pretty much invented vacuum and rice cooking technology. I have a Zojirushi and it’s very good and worth the extra money.
